The Grand Entrances of There Part II
So many cool things, so little time. Tyr has one of the most expansive gateways in all of There, although the There Teleport Landing in Saja is no slouch either. The entrance of a location sets that precious initial impression of the mood style, and feel of the area you’re entering. Just because we’re in pixels, the design features still require a lot of decision making, just a lot less concrete pouring. Tyr.

In a way, the entire
island of Tyr is a masterpiece of entryway design to reach the tower in the
center of the Great Spiral of Tyr. What fun it must’ve been to plan out the
caverns and paths of Tyr. If you haven’t yet, you must take a hoverboat over
and under the many bridges and see the gothic beauty/terror of the Tyrian
world. 
Saja on the other hand
is a floating marvel of fantastic alien beauty. It has many impressive
entryways on its various floating “vegetation”. They warned you about
psychedelic “flashbacks”, but these floating islands might be a great place
for “heavy” psych-rock concert in the sky…someday hopefully. =) 
Another very
interesting “entryway” Speculation about this place never totally dies down.
Is there a way into the “Wishing Gate”? Do any groups hold ritual “wishing”
ceremonies there? Has anyone ever gone through the gate into the mountain
wall? Is there a hidden city in There? Perhaps if you can penetrate the
mountain wall, your avie will fall right out of There onto the floor of the
server room at the There offices in Menlo
