I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!  There I was, standing in Saja, watching Mr. Blinky do his thing…Log on…log off… Log on…log off… Log on…log off……wow…it was looking like it was going to be an exciting night for this starving Senior Staff Reporter, right?

Thank goodness, I received a summons from Mr_Rush.  He’s always up to something, you know, and always has exciting tidbits of news to pass on to his favorite publication.  HE DIDN’T LET ME DOWN!

“You want to see something?” he asked.

“Always!” I replied.

Mr_Rush requests your presence. Do you wish to accept this summons?

Hehheh…you needn’t ask twice!

When I finally landed, and my eyes cleared, I found myself in the DS 999,999 community, facing the beautiful gardens.  Mr_Rush was standing in front of me.  I said, “So, what’s up?”

“Turn around” he said, with a suspicious smirk on his avie face.

I slowly turned around, rubberbanding a bit, due to the lag, when suddenly…there!...in front of me!!!....I couldn’t believe it!... 

I was completely mesmerized.  I HAD to talk to the owner (who actually wasn’t the designer) 

It should be mentioned that this brilliant design (Earth Globe Animated) is the work of  michaelflya.  The subject of my interview, last night, however, was the builder of the first globe in-world, bhrocky.  **He thinks that his is the first because after he bought his globe, the count on the auctions stood at 9,999.** 

bhrocky sat down with me, INSIDE the globe, to answer a few questions and show me around his spectacular space station…LITERALLY…”in-world!”…ANOTHER world!

Rose_Blossom:  This is amazing!  How did you discover the LARGER THAN LIFE animated globe?

bhrocky:  I was trying to save tbucks so I put my 40x40 grass decks into Auctions when they came in… but I saw this and had to get it!   (I thought) That it would be a great add-on to Deep Space.

bhrocky:   I didn’t make this.  The only thing I did was put it up and put a space station in it. 

Rose_Blossom:   What a great idea!  How long did it take you to do?

bhrocky:  Not that long being we had a spacequake up here today.  I was in the middle of resetting things when I was summoned to check this out.  So THEN it was take down time, so I could put this in.

Rose_Blossom:  It looks so amazing up here.  How many pieces is it?

bhrocky: The globe is one piece.

Rose_Blossom:  Are you the first person to bring it in world?...to build it?

bhrocky:  I can get the sellers name for you so he can get credit for it.  I think so. When I got it outa Auctions there was 9999, so yeah, I was the first to buy one.

Rose_Blossom:  Wow!

Rose_Blossom:  I just can't get over how big it is! LOL...It looks like it would be heavy! ‘ROFL!

bhrocky:  yea, same here! 

Rose_Blossom:   did you think it was this big when you bought it?

bhrocky:  No, but once I got inside and saw the size,… that’s when I knew it would be perfect to have the space station in side of it. 

bhrocky:   I’m also thinking about take out at the top so folks can enjoy it from the top of the globe

Rose_Blossom:  So you will leave it here for awhile?

bhrocky:  I’ve been with Deep Space for over a mouth, and in that time I’ve redone this place many times.  I have a lot of folks that like to come out here just to see what I’ve done to this place.  It never stays the same.  ‘lol   

bhrocky then, very thoughtfully, showed me around the rest of the space station inside the animated globe.  The station itself is quite impressive, but given that it was built inside the globe, and all the colors of the land masses are circling around you, it’s an unbelievable site!  There were hints of other surprises that might be coming from this builder and others in the DS 999,999 community, not the least of which is an “Outer Space Quest” that is being placed inside the globe and spacestation.  bhrocky said that avies will appreciate looking for answers and learning about space, while having fun at the same time!  And your favorite reporter was promised all the scoops of all the new stuff!  So please, keep your browsers homed into The Voice of There for future updates on this amazing neighborhood!
