What if all this, were completely new.

Suppose you stumbled across this site, perhaps loosely searching with the word “voice” included in you search criteria. Or perhaps your first trial membership at There.com and you were simply searching, learning, exploring - ?

 

What really IS There.com?

A game? A virtual world? Just a place to hang out with online friends? Yes, There.com considers itself to be a service, providing a world with real people behind each avatar. A kind of new frontier where even if the Alpha Test and Production Beta tests have been run, it is still a new unfolding world.

 

If you just happened to stumble across this site- The Voice of There is a “newspaper” for this large community of online “gamers”.  Except There.com isn’t really a game. There are no attacks from invisible alien beasts, although you might bump into an annoying “greifer”. There.com has ‘Terms of Service’ like any online game or chat community.

 

The members here are as diverse as you might find in city traffic or at a grocery store. In There.com some members are computer wizards, some members are handicapped and still get the joy and freedom to express in ways “real life” (or “RL”) may not afford. Ride hoverboards, drive buggies over mountain trails, fly with hoverpacks or conversing with buddies while flying over the world in hoverboat.

 

There.com has no boundaries. There is no walls or edge of the scenery as found in many other virtual environments. Here members may [learn to] design objects like clothes, buildings deco, we even have member made Space Needle (ala Seattle) and Statue of Liberty (ala NY). There.com has provided wide open spaces, spooky islands (Tyr) fantastic sky islands (Saja) and towering mountains.

 

You won’t find a more welcoming community in any other virtual world. No “Sims” style pressure to do jobs, cleaning or home-making. It’s all up to you. This land is for exploring. This kind of exploration goes further than the mystery of places to. Members are what make this place so intriguing as well.
