The AFK Avie Parade By NigelBlackthorne
Droopy (http://all-there.com/)
has done it again with his new invention, I asked Droopy to explain, “For several months I have been trying to achieve the same effect as he "ladder effect" only horizontally. I have created several test models "experiments" trying to achieve what the ZipaDeeDoDa does (that is the name of the double arrow object that is making the whole thing work) The 3 types of quarks were the first experiments into horizontal and diagonal motion. The tunnel facades were another experiment. The knowledge gained from those led to the Accelerameter. A couple of other variants were tried with no closer success to horizontal motion, and I lost confidence.”
So, how did he do it? This is what he had to say, “Basically I used the "screen" model guidelines because of the large number of collision polygons. The ZipaDeeDoDa accelerates the avie to 14.4 km/h. Placing them in a line continues the motion. It is hard to actually yank yourself free from their grasp.” Collision polygons? Screen model guidelines? Well, for the non-designing public these are not as important as the fact that the thing works and is pretty amazing. “Friday night I constructed a
square out of them to see what would happen and thus was the birth of the
avie conveyor. I moved it to Karuna Sat morning and made it longer. Both
my wife's avie and mine One effect was evident close to The AFK Avie Parade. It seems that when some of the ZipaDeeDoDas are placed in certain ways that a vehicle can be placed in the center and will do some amazing flip flops. When an attempt is made to drive through them similarly radical effects take place, Droopy commented on the effects, “…please pass my apologies to the owners of the TUV that made the mistake of trying to drive through these things, it does a real number on vehicles... Oh and another odd effect, I put one in my house and now I can leave without teleporting out of the house. I wonder if that means people are finally gonna buy my exit signs. :)” So what is brewing in the mind of this mad-genius designer…“Now that I have even more working knowledge, I expect to get the diagonal motion working soon. I have long dreamed of a perpetual avie machine.” With a dream, a goal, and a little intoxicating liquid…we can only imagine what Droopy is going to come out with next. |
