THERE ASSOCIATION OF BUGGY RACERS
September 6, 2004 If you’re into buggy racing and haven’t heard of TABR, There Association of Buggy Racers, well you’re missing one of the hottest racing scenes in There. TABR is a joint effort between funzone operators and event hosts. Their goal is to bring fair and challenging buggy racing to There, and still have fun doing so. Not only does TABR provide organized racing it also offers the opportunity for Thereians to earn money for racing. TABR is broken down into three divisions Sport TABR has three divisions to make competition fair and challenging. You are placed in a division by your buggy skill points. By doing so buggy racers from beginner to expert have a chance to win. Once placed in a division you are in that division for the rest of the season. Season’s are 11 weeks. TABR races three nights per week. 9:00-10:00 EST are the qualifications heats. Once you have qualified you will then be entered into the division race which is held 10:00-11:30 EST. During the actual race you will receive points. Top qualifying time receives 4 points, and then every other person who qualifies receives 2 points. Heat races and final races are broken down like this: 1st place receives 10 points, 2nd - 8 points, 3rd - 6 points, 4th - 4 points. The top 2 finishers of both heat races move on to the finals. Spectators are also welcome and seating is located right out side the funzones which gives you a great view of the races.
