Mysterious Goings-On in There

On the surface, it’s just seems like regular ol’ avies hanging out in There, but is there a ghost in the machine? Who are the “pale” ones? Disappearing objects, driverless buggies-What’s going on in There?

A human-made world seems impervious to unseen natural forces. But I will tell you right here and now that nature, and perhaps the super-natural has a way of creeping in to any realm in this universe, whether by plan or not, … no-where is safe.

I asked Thereians what they’ve seen;

Geea; “Well Archie now that you mentioned it. I think my clubhouse in Ootay is haunted. Items disappear from it. But items that would cause fights.

Example. A picture from the wall just poofed (now it went into my inventory but I didn't put it there) A certain someone thought I was pissed and took it down. Which caused lets just say some tension.

The next time candles, fireplace flames and a dozen roses poofed - This time I got a little annoyed then I found out He didn't remove it I surely didn't. I chalked it up to a drama queen ghost.

All true - if I had made something up it would of been more interesting then that. :)” 

Banshee Kate; “I think I was at one of the opening premier parties for Kill boat. Virtual_Vikki can back me up on this, if that was the event. Anyway, one of the guests had skin that was perfectly white! I didn't want to appear uncool and didn't make a big deal, but the person mingled and then left. It was a very long time ago, in 2003, and I don't have screenshots that I can find. Nobody knew who that female was!” 

Jinx_TV; NCraine had completely white skin. I think it had something to do with her mega super admin powers. She could stand there and talk to you (or just stare at you) and be deleting you from the system at the same time. I had a picture of her AFK at the north pole from a long time ago, but I don't know where it is.

Banshee Kate; Oh cool Icedoll! Yes, that's who I saw, or one like her! umm, I want black default undies. 

Sazzypants: I’ve seen the “ghosts buggies” at Dune Valley. I’m sure that if you were to talk to anyone who has raced there they would confirm the sightings. You can be
running laps or in the middle of a race, out of the blue a buggy, with driver, will
appear in front of you then disappear just as quickly.

Artie; I know an Evil Genie that sometimes haunts the Genie Bottles.

Jo Bleaux;  I've seen both driverless buggies and buggyless drivers racing around the track at Dune Valley. And recently I noticed a troll lurking in the glare of the spotlight over Clucky in El Templo del Pollo.

NigelBlackthorne; Looker has a great story about a driverless TUV that was going around in circles on the water in the interior Motu lagoon. They finally summoned someone from There who got it to stop. 

Neckromancer; I remembering seeing the albino avies, Tellis in particular. I also recall seeing more than a few riderless vehicles in my day... I think it had something to do with either the rider being teleported, or not rendered yet properly on my end.

I seem to have a reoccurring problem with wormholes. I get some random ones that are usually just rare but extreme rubberbanding. The one that sticks out in my mind was the one I could enter at the outskirts of Tabu and end up on tiki beach. Usually via boat while in the midst of land, but I also did it once while on a bike.
 
A friend also showed me where the Bermuda Triangle is once. You travel from point A towards point B on a vehicle, but once you crossed this one particular line you'll sort of blib in and out of existence, you can still control yourself, yet you seem to be walking around, yet you're still traveling at a rate of speed like you're still on the vehicle as you blip in and out. Eventually it settles down and you're left standing there. right next to you sit your vehicle pointing true north as if you had just pulled it out. Still got the saved points to recreate it.

Then there’s the ever infamous crack in the earth, where if you cross the line you turn into a blockhead t everyone on the other side and they appear as blockheads to you. Not terribly ghostish, but still kinda cool.
