DUMPLIN JUMP By Geea Ever wonder what
Rick_Slick does when he isn’t writing for The Voice, stealing buggies in Based on of Ravenlynn’s Lil’ Dumplins http://www.cafepress.com/cutelildumplins Rick incorporates Ravenlynn’s Lil’ Dumplin creation, RavenTresses love of running people down and his love of blood being spewed across your monitor. This cute little game is called Dumplin Jump. Game instructions:
During the game,
press the left or right arrows to go slower or faster, respectively, and
the up arrow to jump right quick. Jump over Lil Bluenose if you can!
Hitting him will cost you 25% of your score, and cause you to lose an amount
of health depending on the force of impact. Collect the seeds of some sort
for additional health! You die when you lose all your health, and that
would be bad, because you only get like three lives so BE CAREFUL and
whatnot! Once you've lost all your lives, all y'all may enter your score in
the high score list! There is a choice to turn off the gore and profanity but when you do Lil’ Porkchop clicks it back on before you enter. Would you expect anything less from Rick? This was Rick’s first game creation using Game Maker. So how long did it take him to create Dumplin Jump? Rick explained, “Actually it only took me a few hours a night for a week looking at examples and piecing stuff together. Now I think I'm ready to tackle something more complex. Game Maker was surprisingly easy to figure out and use! Lots of drag and drop object-oriented stuff”. What’s next on the agenda for Rick’s new gaming career? Rumor has it..... Space Dumplins
Outstanding job Rick! Now I have something to do while I wait for you to show up for work and turn in your next article. I’ll just play Dumplin Jump and run your bluenose over and over and over again. ;) Credits for Dumplin Jump: Ravenlynn - artwork, RavenTresses - voices/profanity and Rick created the game. You can download at http://www.ninjastar.net/dumplinjump.zip Please note: This game is not intended for children.
Disclaimer: The Voice in no way endorses the violence and profanity in this game. But we sure had a good time playing it.
