A LITTLE OF NEW YORK IN THERE

Housing has always been the most wanted item in There.  There released more houses, then portahomes but what are the most truly amazing houses are the builder created ones.  Being a girl from Brooklyn, NY, I missed the brownstones.  I remember sitting on the stoop and chatting with friends and wished there was such a building created in There.  After much nagging to any builder within ear shot of me I think one heard me, over and over and over again.  That builder was Meret.  Meret released his one drop Brownstone on Wednesday and if you haven’t seen it yet – what are you waiting for?   This is a three story, five room brownstone equipped with built in front door, front stoop and fire-escape in the back.  Hey take away the lush hills of New Kansas and I’m back in Brooklyn again.  As soon as I got my sweaty little avie hands on this truly amazing creation I put anywhere chairs on the stoop and a hibachi on the fire-escape I was home again ;)  As with the Santa shop Meret does not disappoint.   The Brownstone is currently in auctions and set at a mere 19,750T which is more than reasonable for any city dweller.  It also fits in a large paz but for drop hogs like me, I needed a 50x50 for the 50 drops.   

For those of you who wanted the city feel, many brownstone communities have already started up. I joined one on New Kansas and a fiery crew it is, they are a lot of fun and made me feel very welcome.  Speaking of fiery I even have a rl NY fireman living across the street from me how hot is that? ;)  Now I really feel like I’m back in NY when I hear that familiar accent. :) 

 

So what did I do with my brownstone?  I decided to give The Voice a home office.  The first floor is the reception area and newsroom where all the action happens, 2^nd floor which over looks the first floor is the editor’s office and I use the third floor for private living quarters.  Here is a sneak peek.  So if you see The Voice office, stop on in and check out Meret’s newest addition to There.
