What's New In Beta

Last night There held a 2.34 beta cluster test.  For those of you who could not make it here is what you missed.

First I'll go over my favorite the Interactivity - Focus

We have developed the framework which allows us to create new objects in world that you can interact with.
What to test:

Objects:
Dice - D6 - roll die, everyone should see the same results
Sign - Has rotating text
Ejection seat - Have a seat, no really, it will be fine!
Mannequin - Change the options to show off the clothes
Paintball Target - it works!
Tiki in a Box - walk up and check it out
Parrot - Hugz dances, he sleeps, you just need to tell him to do it!
Torch - The torch has several options for the zone owner to choose from

Mannequins - after five years I was really happy to see something developed for clothing designers to show off their designs.  Now I have no idea how it will work with our own clothes the test included 3 tops and one pair of Shop pants.   Two types of mannequins one full bodied female with two poses and one top model.  Here are some shots as you can see Mister Rogers had a good time with the ladies last night.

Hugz the Parrot - Very cute, you can make him dance and sleep by simply typing dance and sleep.  No ticks required.

Ejection Seat - while I hope you can fling an avie with it.  I did not see that perhaps it needs more work.

Weather -

Finally fog taken out of rain and now.  Now you can have a spring shower and powdered snow without the fog. Yay!!!

We have added a couple of the weather patterns requested since we released weather (Basically, rain and snow without the fog).

The new weather patterns are:
Summer Showers - Sprinkle your flowers with soft summer showers
and
Powder Snow - Add some fluffy flakes with these light flurries

What to test:
Select the weather pattern in you PAZ/Hood/Zone.
-- Do you see the new pattern?
-- Do you like it?

Transaction History

We have made many improvements to the Transaction History page to make it a more efficient means of keeping track of your transactions.
- You should now be able to view several months of transactions without crashing your profile page

- You can set the number of transactions to be displayed per page
- Export actually works
- Members can view all buy/ lend/ trade/ try it/trade functions immediately in the Transaction page
 

Designer Only Search

As promised, we have made several changes to the auctions to make more (and better) information available to you when looking at the auctions. Unfortunately, the data on the cluster is old enough that all auctions have expired. To help us test, please list items for sale, both designer sales and resale auctions

1 - Designer Only search
Feature will help Designer and members to search for Designer items more efficiently
1) List designer items by designer. Make sure to use "featured designer"
-- Go to webapps.beta.there.com/items/home
-- List any of the Designer items in auction
-- Click on the name of a featured designer
Verify the auction list should only consist of sales by the specified designer.

2) List designer items by someone else.
-- Click on an auction item

All in all it was a good test with many promising additions.
