Hearts by Tab by Geea
For those of you who don’t know Tab. He is a brilliant man but not one of many words :) Tablatronix has created third party add-ons for There on his own time over the years. Most of us couldn’t get along in There without them such as the Bboy QuickBar, the Bboy MyGear, Bboy Lazyboy, and my favorite GoThere. To check out more of what Tab has on his site go to http://there.rumental.com/
Geea: Why was hearts chosen as the new game? Tablatronix: Hearts was the most logical choice because of its similarity to spades
Geea: Was poker ever a consideration?
Tablatronix: Do not know.
Tablatronix: We knew the first card game was going to be a learning experience
Geea: I'd like to see solitaire, so I don’t' have to look for 3 people :)
Tablatronix: Michael Wilson has already posted that the next card game will be 2 player, if that offers and consolation.
Geea: How long did you work on it; I know they mentioned it during my mab term, which was a while ago.
Tablatronix: It was announced at TRLG in the SOTA, in August. So it took a while but there was a lot of things going on, lots of reading, lol, and learning. Geea: Are you satisfied with the outcome now that it's in world
Tablatronix: Very much, I think the new tables will be loved as much as the new game
Tablatronix: What’s with the tiaras?
Geea: It was a dollar, and we wanted to look cheap
Tablatronix: umm ok
Now the interview may have seemed short to you but were played for two hours. I basically still don’t know how to play hearts; I played hearts like I would have played spades. To my surprise and everyone else's I did win but I really couldn’t tell you how.
If you have not purchased a hearts table and don’t know how to play hearts instructions are included so don't worry the tables can be purchased from Shops. I don’t know if it was beginners luck or the cheap tiara that distracted my opponents but either way it was a fun evening playing hearts and I get to say I beat the guy who created the game ;) Thank you Tab!
