Celebrities In There™

Have you ever been starstruck? Met someone whom you admired and didn't know what to say? Lately that's me. We all know There is a virtual on-line community, well like any community certain people stand out and make a difference... they shine so to speak. I remember when I was first invited to Therywood Squares, I was stunned and I couldn't stop laughing. Afterwords I wanted to meet the "stars" and I tried to add them all to my buddy list and a few accepted. Everyone was standing around talking and I just stood there and listened like I was in on some kind of Hollywood party.

  

But let me tell you about my other "star sightings". When I first started shopping in auctions I wanted to find clothes that seemed "me" and I've always been conservative with a flair, always with little skirts and dresses. A little sexy but not too much. Well I found Elaur designs and soon my virtual closet was full of them. It was me and I even won a friendly fashion show with them. Well one day I went to an event and who was there- Elaur! For some reason I never thought she'd just be walking around lol. I was surprised that she was talking to me. I told her how I loved her designs and she was so kind and humble, if an avatar could sign an autograph I would have begged for one. But the most amazing thing is she added me to her buddy list, joined my club and business. I started to realize famous Avie's were just people too (that was what she told me anyway).

One night my There bf, who knows everybody, brought me to Unicrystal's open house and we actually talked with her- that was another starstruck moment for me.   That night our Avie's were so dressed up it just seemed like an amazing dream, and a great fun date because we snuck off during the party and explored the property. 

At the There games I met Banshee Kate and just talked crazy... told her everything I could think of in Im including my writing for the Voice which hadn't even started yet (boy was I embarrassed later). She also was amazing and exchanged e-mail with me.

More encounters with There celebrities came my way: being friends with Nyllone of Simply NY, The There-Tv crew, Josie interviewed me for There Fun Times, Juliadeeans responded to my fan-mail,  Rickslick accepting me in one of his clubs, Francis_7 encouraging me, Emma thanking me.  Spending time with Island Guides and Greeters. So while my meeting famous Therians seemed to be all the time now I was still impressed, a bit nervous, but I also felt like I could contribute to the conversation and really enjoy their company. 

Then the most amazing thing happened and I was so humbled, grateful and thrilled. It all started when my wonderful boyfriend wanted to celebrate and surprise me when I became an Island guide.. He introduced me to DreamWeaver who gave me a limited edition dress. And he let me put his DreamWeaver butterfly in my club. I was literally speechless and could only type. But the dream didn't end there. DreamWeaver named an outfit after me. She says after I thank her profusely:  "Wow! I'm thrilled you love the outfit. I thought of it when I heard your name. It couldn't have been more perfect for a name. It was a fun one to create.  And you are very welcome.  I love to surprise people.  Love, Dream" She joined my club and I put a link to her website on mine http://thebffclub.synthasite.com/.

 

So I am starstruck once again and I hope this exciting feeling never ends!
