Meet The Mab At Pirates Keep

I actually got to be a Pirate in There! I went to the Meet the Pirates of the Mab Arrg party in Pirate's Keep- what a beautiful place. It was my first time at Pirates Keep.  The party was hosted by JadeOScarlet and was attended by current and former Mab members including Francis_7  and  KalieghLace (who are current members). Why did the Mab have this party? A lot of people in There still don't know who the Mab are and how they affect and help the community. Why the Pirate theme? Pirates are coming to There so as the event description read "What better way to start off PIRATES WEEK than partying with your fellow MAB members at Pirates Keep!"

 

 

 

 

I'll have to say I was never into Pirates (although I love the Pirates of The Caribbean Ride at Disney and Johnny Depp of course). So I actually read Julia's speak like a pirate article and when a bunch of my Bff's and me were at my club I said "Arrgh" and people just laughed. Suddenly and almost naturally everyone at our club really got into pirate speak -it was very funny, we did it for hours lol. Avast ye ol' salty sea dog and similar insults flew about the room. Of course as the nature of pirates goes... it got out of hand. They took the phrase "Burn the ships!" literally. They actually set fire to my clubhouse, there were flames everywhere, lots of smoke and I tried to stop them but they put Kortt babies everywhere that needed to be rescued. Some of the pirates claimed they were tasty but I like to think they all got away and were adopted by nice families. I wonder what's going to happen during pirate week lol.

Back to the Mab party :) other members who were there included Nytelyte, Angelius, Fox30 and former member Percy. The party was well done. First off we the Pirate’s Keep Cheerleaders lead by Julia_the_Pirate danced, and they were fabulous. But that was just the beginning. I needed a pirate costume and I searched the auctions and Kaliegh helped me to find the eye-patch. Next we had a costume contest and Wabbs won a vehicle that was generously donated. They then threatened to make the losers walk the plank....and just when you thought it couldn't get better we were all invited to paintball the Mab! They had guns too and I was hit hard by Fox30 (who apologized lol) and I went flying over the trees and got an amazing view. I went so far that Francis_7 had to summon me back lol.

 

Now I had a Pirate costume and I couldn't stop wearing it. I wore it at the Club Fair at my booth and  Zayden who had a booth next door was inspired to put his pirate outfit on too (of course he was one of the scallywags who set fire to my club). And the pirate speak began again. I'm starting to think that this whole Pirate thing is contagious and I'm looking forward to discovering the whole world of Pirates in There. Just remember to the victor go the spoils!
