Camping Out with StrayKatz- Having Fun at Cosmo

We actually hung out at Cosmo the other night. I mean just for fun. I hadn't done that since my days as a scared little newbie wondering what There was all about. It was thrilling having no agenda, nothing to do- just hanging out. I was surprised when my There bf summoned me over there.  

We sat by the campfire chatting wondering what drama will ensue (we are at Cosmo after all).   I notice a group of dancers and remark how good they are doing. So we all walked over to the Straykatz group (Straykatz is a dance group lead by LaydeeJane and Heavymetalduck).  They invited us to join in on the dancing and had me type the command line for my Bedican Compass and I'm dancing!   It was sooo much fun I couldn't stop laughing. All the stress of my day melted away.  

 

I was in There just having a great time. It also kept things fun that Greeter Anna was a few feet away teaching newbie's- it encouraged the atmosphere to remain PG-13. Of course I was an Island Guide in civilian clothes so felt guilty for a second that I wasn't guiding but just for a moment lol. I was enjoying myself way too much and I had done a welcome event earlier. But even as I was dancing a new member asked me to lend her a vehicle and feeling happy and generous I gave it to her. 

Well the dance routines and the music were great I'm definitely a fan now. I'm in the club and we even bought jackets. It reminded me what There is all about: a great place to be with friends, a little escape from real life stress.
