Game On!

There Winter Games 2009.  It’s here and now.   

I signed up in some events, and is getting excited as the days go on.  The first games I tried were the TG Quests, with which I got stuck on two of them.  My alibi:  I am still learning my GPS, and picture quests really stall me up to now.  But I finished one nice and easy, it was the Scrambled Sports Quest.  ‘Yay Team Pink!  My next events were the TG Costume Party wherein I got counted for Pink wearing my “There Is Closed for a Client Update” costume.  It is actually a Filipiniana, but since the avie on the Update page is wearing it, I thought it would pass as a costume!  I also went to the TG Elusive Lyrics wherein I wasn’t able to guess anything. But I tried.  ‘doh! 

 

TG Konverge was my next event.  I was looking around, wondering how the game goes when co-Pinkster EmmaJean IMed me to ask if I want to swap places with her on the board.  Of course I did!  But after two rolls of the dice, the game ended.  I wasn’t even able to move.  ‘tu for trying Ny!   

And then the TG Word Play.  I was late for this event, and I really regretted it because this game was so much fun.  But of course, since I was late, I had to wait outside the CMG Tower where the event was being held, and wait a while before I got the invite again.  When I got in, it was so laggy and I thought it was a Blockhead Party, even the host was a blockhead!  I focused on the IM to join in on the game.  And I believe I got two correct answers in there. ‘tu  Here are some funny guesses and typos in that event.

 

 

 

 

I must admit that when I skilled up as a Contender and got the cute white There Winter Games shirt, I got a boost to skill up to Athlete.  And I got the flag (skill up reward for being Athlete) after joining more games the next day.  I started off with TG Game of Chance and won points for Team Pink before heading off to TG Musical Chairs.  I even went on a TG Hoverboat Quest with two good friends, Aradriel and Yozh, who belonged to different nametag teams.  Important thing is I am doing my best for my team, and I am having fun.  See you on the next games! ‘wave
