 Softly sweetly says:  I'm missing Jayy already :P...oh wait he's here....but for real I agree with Black Out, the sheer quantity of Dalriada's designs are amazing. I also have to give kudos for detail. I loved the pink ladies tracksuit I bought, I want that in real life too!!! I think getting to know a designer is important too, I like buying from quality people and having met Dalriada and read her posts and comments on Thumdar's site she is definitely quality. She is willing to share ideas and will help others with their designs, she posts her sites and tips on Thumdar. She also is very versatile and active she even has a funzone called the place 2b. So I give the place 2b and Firebird designs a big 'TU 

 

X_xBlackOutx_X Butts in: Thank you Softly I love you too......hey Jayy!!! Dalriada has been in game a long while now, and been a designer for a good while as well. In my opinion shes always been some of the best jeans in game, just about any kind you could want, but thats not all she has to offer. She has a vast array of tops shes made for both men and women, that are some of my favorites because they are not the usual kind of thing you would find from most designers. Shes made a lot of different tank tops, bare chests, and full body tattoos, with or without some ice, and different looking long sleeved polos and jackets for guys. For women shes made a lot of different kinds of boots to go with her skinny jeans :). Her women's tops range from classy to casual, pink to biker. Shes also made some different masks, shoes, and glasses for both. Theres something for everyone in Dal's great selection of designs, and the quality is amazing. When I listed a few things I had of hers, I knew they would sell themselves because she has a great reputation for quality, and they did sell fast. When in auctions be sure to browse through what she has for sale because I definitely give Firebird Designs 'TU 

 

Jayyson Jokingly Jousts: wow I almost didn't make it...You know I have to say I'm biased when it comes to Dalriada lol. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her designs. I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting with her and talking with her on numerous occasions in world and she's a great person to boot :) Her designs are some of my favorite on the game I have to say that her jeans are some of the most realistic looking ones in world. Probably my favorite item of dalriada's though is my one of a kind "The Infamous Jayyson" t'shirt. One thing though that impresses me the most about Dalriada's designs is the attention to detail. T-shirts, jeans and sunglasses all have realistic textures to them & in a virtual world where many clothes don't have that realistic feel to them it's a breath of fresh air. So for Dalriada's designs I give a HUGE 'TU 

 

Thumdar.com 

Softly sweetly says: Hi Percy! This is my new home away from my There home..I love Thumdar, the site and the man behind the avatar. Thumdar is so into his site and he really takes care of it, even after a brief hospital visit he was back in no time. Thumdar is passionate between his downloads for our beloved virtual worlds and his forum and blog attention this site is a must!!! You will meet many fellow Theriens at Thumdar you can even rate them with good or bad "Karma". At Thumdar everyone has a voice and its heard even if it's only by Thumdar himself. BTW Jayy congrats on being Thumdar's member of the month. 'TU 

 

Percy packs a punch: Heya greetings and salutations.....Thumdar has really expanded fairly recently. Where before it was 'just' a repository of patches and tools to use with the There client, it has now grown into a community site, with member blogs, forums, an Arcade and profiles that includes amongst other things an MP3 player to share people's favorite songs. It offers something for pretty much everyone's taste. 'TU   

 X_xBlackOutx_X Butts in: hey P..wow its got almost everything a therian needs. At first you would just go there to find patches to change just about anything you might want. Now, it still has that but you can also make your own profile to include anything extra on it that you didnt have room for on your one in game. You can add as much or as little info about yourself as you like, extra pictures, post a video, write a blog, and connect with your friends and leave them comments, just like myspace,... but less spam :D. Theres also a gallery where members can post slideshows they created. If your stuck on an issue or dont know how to do something in game, you can bet someone has written about it in Thumdar's library or forums section. Those are filled with tons of useful info ranging from fixing tech errors to learning how to be a designer. The bookmarks section has links to member created, there and non-there related websites for you to browse through. And thrown in is a little arcade section with a few games available to check out. Of course you cant forget the music. You can upload your own songs to play for anyone that visits your page. After anyone has seen and heard everything on your page, they can rate you one time with a thumbsup or thumbsdown. People can also know when your online and know what your top songs are from looking in the boxes on the right of the page, and if your lucky you might be chosen for profile of the month, with your picture in the member showcase bow for all to see. Well once you've visited thumdar.com, you'll see how awesome it is, im on it just about everyday, so it definitely gets a big 'TU 

 

Jayyson Jokingly Jousts: Ty softly...Again I'm biased here as I've had the pleasure of meeting & speaking with Thumdar in world & he is an all round great guy. Thumdar's website really is a must see for those who are wanting to enhance their "THERE.com " experience. He has lots of patches available for download including Meriki's Hairpatch & others. Could I also take this moment to thank Thumdar for having my profile as the member showcase for the month of January.... Thanks a bunch mate! Seriously I love his site he really has done a tremendous job in making it a great experience for those who visit. You can check out members profiles, the photo galleries, video galleries even their blogs but one of my favorite features is the MP3 player. It's awesome to browse member profiles and listen to their music. Oh & visit my profile if you can lol. I'm trying to get Cyndi Laupers Song up to the top spot! Thumdar is awesome and gets a HUGE 'TU  from me.

 

Welcome Walkway                                                  

Softly sweetly says: Wow, feel the love, so many TU's....It's funny at first the welcome walkway seemed like a bad idea to me. I felt people would be forced to learn the "game" instead of being spawned to discover the "world". But now that I've Island guided there i am grateful to talk to new members who want to listen and are grateful....I can definitely see advantages and benefits to it. When it first opened there was sooo many glitches I would have said doh' but Makena is really doing their job so I say'TU 

 

Percy packs a punch: Well, what I can say?As the new 'front door' to There, Makena has made sure it has the look and feel of a 'port', before you embark on a cruise to a tropical resort. Where the first part is a form of 'run the gauntlet', where you are acquainted with the various basics of our virtual world, the latter part is more spread out and holds a lot of info about various aspects of Therian Life, before offering a few select entry points into There. All in all it is a pretty good 'spring board' 'TU 

X_xBlackOutx_X Butts in: yeah..love... I wish the welcome walkway was around when I first started. It provides a tutorial right from the very first spot you land on, and a video for you to watch the first time you log in as well. Its a great way to learn the basics and meet some friendly people that will answer any questions they might have. Guiding on the walkway is always fun because the atmosphere is always great with the chatting, teaching, and friendly conversation. Its a crazy place at times, but it still helps new members become more comfortable with their experience, and most likely contributes to helping them decide to stay. Theres even some guides hanging around after hours, or before, so it isnt always left unattended when there arent any greeters on their shift. We have some dedicated guides taking care of new members all the time, and when in doubt, they always know they can be of some use at the walkway. It still has some changes being made, and there are a few issues that need a bit of fixing, but overall the concept of the walkway was genius. Congrats to Makena, it was a wise investment I feel, and therefore gets a'TU

 

Jayyson Jokingly Jousts: yes sooo much love...I have to say the Welcome Walkway is one of the more genius ideas THERE has come up with. A place made especially for New Members is brilliant. Seriously guys how cool is it that new members have a place to explore and learn about the fun things THERE has to offer without the hassles of worrying about being Griefed by other members out to cause trouble. I only wish they had something like this when I was a new members. Would have saved me a lot of hassles from other members. The tutorials are great way of helping members learn how change clothes, use the spa's buy & try clothes. Plus the get to meet cool Guides like us 4 who'll help them out and show them how things work in world :) So again the welcome walkway gets a HUGE 'TU  from me. Boy I've been generous with the Huge 'TU's this week eh?
