'TU Or 'DOH By X_xBlackOutx_X, SoftlyDreaming, Percy Three friends match wits and reviews as they check out what THERE has to offer....
Percy packs a punch: Too bad Jayy couldn't make it this week.... There Games are always fantastically crowded, which shows how much people like to attend. Even though Purple is not doing so hot, I still try to attend a fair amount of events. Sometimes the sheer amount of participants makes it a challenge to even get INTO the event and once in, lag can be a major factor, especially during lapping/racing. I even had to drop out of a hoverboat race, because my screen kept freezing up constantly. But as a community building endeavour, the There Games are great, so I'd give them a 'TU
Softly sweetly says: I know I miss Jayy already ....but I agree with Percy, I have so many memories from there games...Amazing lag at just the wrong times lol...but I loved elusive lyrics at club wow this year and the whole community and team spirit...three cheers for light blue!!! I give the games a'TU
X_xBlackOutx_X Butts in: wow I have to say there games was great. Even tho my team didnt place, we came close!! I really had a lot of fun with theregames. The competition was refreshing to see and I made a lot of good friends along those 2 weeks. There Games are a big competition, but I think they are more for the purpose of making newer closer friends, which definately happens :). im so glad I participated in theregames and give it a 'TU
Softly sweetly says: Without emotes there couldn't be this column Tu Doh...so I must say 'TU and 'DOH Percy packs a punch: With our avatars having been programmed in a world with 'Avatar Centric Communication', which places the focus more on the avatar than just plainly reading text, emotes become fairly important. Our avatars are capable of expressing a whole range of emotions and the There Staff keeps adding more regularly. Emotions and 'Emotes' are not entirely the same thing, as dancing is not regarded an emotion, yet it is an 'emote'. There are 'patches' around that add emotes to the client, but keep in mind that ONLY the people with that same patch can see them. Others just see the command you typed and your avatar just remains 'idle'. 'heyhey 'hu and a 'TU
X_xBlackOutx_X Butts in: hey P... not the same with out jayy :( ...what would there be without emotes? 'lol. what we say in text can be interpreted differently by those who read it, but emotes are a great way to help show your emotion, how your feeling. they can add life to a conversation and convey things you can always say in words. they make up for the body language that our avatars don't do for us :P. Emotes are essential to a convo I say so definitely a 'TU
Softly sweetly says: Okay...this actually was scary...I actual sang!!!! It was pretty nerve racking, but people were so sweet complimenting me on my singing!!! I'll have to say this is the closest I'll ever get to American Idol- a show I absolutely love.....btw Percy I blame you for encouraging me to hurt everyone's ears...'TU
Percy packs a
punch:
I have attended Therian Idle a few times, held by NurseJay in her
house at Tyr and it was always a lot of fun. Just like 'American
Idol' auditions, the contestants range from "where are my
earplugs??" to "Wow (open mouth), that was amazing!". It is a fun
event for all and always a surprise what you will hear.. So a big
'TU THIS WEEK: There Games receives three enthusiastic 'TUs Emotes are both 'Tu and Doh!!!! Therian Idle there's virtual singing contest gets two 'TUs by actual contestants...
