YARDSALE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay this may sound as funny to you as it did to my good friend dj_tam_urradio but until the other day in There.com I had never been to an avie yard-sale. I accepted the invite because I hadn't seen Tam since we were taking pics for Francis7 who is making our Mab yearbook picture. 

When I got to her lot we said "Hi" and chatted a bit. I heard people asking her prices of items in the lot and I began asking questions. Oh this is really like a yard-sale- 'doh. So just out of curiosity I asked her the price of a cute fern. She suggested "uh 300 tbucks". "What??!!! Are you kidding me?" I squealed. "Why is it only 300tbucks??!!!" Tam just laughed at me, "Because I just want to get rid of it." I just could not understand this concept. 

That fern was better than any plants I had and a whole lot cheaper. So yeah- I bought it. But now I was crazed. I ran around the lot looking at everything she had. I bought candles just cause they were cheap.'Hmm didn't even need them. And I now wanted to go to every yard-sale possible and have my own! Then someone at the sale told me they had resale stores. I was like stores? Could I see these? Then I got a tour. I got to see Fabulous finds by Alex and Jeff and Elite machines. Whole stores dedicated to resale, almost like a thrift store. Unfortunately before I could buy more stuff (maybe that was a good thing) I lagged out and crashed. So basically avatars in There sell their stuff that they don't want really cheap to other avies just like in real life!

But quickly I found out just like in real life people try to cheat you by selling stuff for more than what they currently sell for in auctions, and that is a sore spot to many. But also some items are rare and actually are not listed in auctions so they are worth more. So now my avie cruise control is now off for Yardsales!
