Letting my VOICE be heard (again)!
by JoeyG
I can’t believe how much time has passed since I last visited There in
earnest. Obviously,. it has been far too long. Far too long, indeed!.
It’s very comforting to know that time does not stand still for There. The
changes that have been collecting and maturing since my self-imposed exile
last fall are nothing less than amazing. What’s even better, the changes I
have witnessed are all from the many talented designers who are just
simple Thereians. There has provided them an incredible canvas landscape
to dabble on and they have not let us down.
Old friends are still enjoying the Archipelago with a steadfast calm. At
the center of There life is the ever constant The Voice of There.
All is well!
The highlights of my two days back have been the wealth of homes and home
furnishings that are available in a myriad of fashions. It is no surprise
that both Meret and CarCus have dominated the construction business in
There. They were two of the most imaginative and creative Thereians whose
work I had come to admire and look forward to in my previous There life.
I will always be indebted to Meret for his incredible last minute
recreation of the full sized Statue of Liberty that he designed for QE4’s
seemingly final tribute to New York City (and no, Simatt, it really is not
in Boston). Also, I will never forget ZachC’s inspiring trio of NYC
buggies created exclusively for that same event. Too bad Meret’s
brownstone homes were not in world at that time. They would have been the
crowning touch to our recreation of Central Park in QE4’s FROZ.
Oh, speaking of houses, master builders Meret and CarCus have not wasted
any time in helping Thereians populate the landscape with remarkable and
individual homes from the incredible brownstone to A-Frames, log cabins,
suburban. Victorian et al. and most only one precious drop. Remarkable!
Geea, whose fashions were always among my favorites, has branched out with
NigelBlackthorne and is now busily creating gorgeous designs to fill all
of our new homes. What could be better?
The brilliant King of Transportation, ZachC, has partnered with the ever
talented CarCus to design some of the most exiting vehicles, chief among
them, for me, is the Kriss Kraft hover boat series (I just have to have
one!). Word has it that this dynamic duo has three new hover bikes hot off
the design page and just made available (check out ZMW in auctions).
I could go on (and if you remember me you know I could just go on and on).
I have a lot of catching up to do.
The greater part of my catching up is to spend some more quality time with
the wonderful people who always were There for me even when I was not
There for them. If I write this now it is in deep appreciation for all
your continued love and support and your undying friendship There will
always be lovely to look at and fun to experience but there would be no
There there if it weren’t for you wonderfully talented, warm spirited
Thereians.
I just needed to VOICE my love and respect!
MAY THE PAZ BE WITH YOU!
