Abilities in There

by Archie

Abilities and possibilities are unlimited in There. Yes, the world and even a virtual world may its setbacks, but since There has such thoughtful communication features, many individuals with serious RL challenges have found a place to meet and interact with others.

A great deal of positive vibes and wonderful moments of accomplishment occur in There when designing, building, decorating, and even shopping for clothes and vehicles. It is especially rewarding for those who may find it somewhat daunting in RL to do many of these things.

More members than one might guess have Real Life physical challenges, and some are really quite severe. Many Thereians also have psychological challenges, including ones that make it a daring learning experience just to step up and socialize with others.

Many of today’s computer users develop this problem of finding opportunities to interface socially, partly because of the separating nature of the typical online experience. This, however, is an area at which There excels at providing a desperately needed online social environment. The relief from this kind of social anxiety is invaluable and makes There a treasured commodity. Real human social skills, personal risk and consequence are a premium commodity as one becomes integrated (by making a few friends) into There. There are no level-ups for finding and being a good friend, the reward is in the process itself.

Get with a group!

The groups and “clubs” in There are massively numerous, and if you still can’t find one you like, it’s really very easy to start one. I have found that one can also easily attract a few sincere new members by giving you group a “plug” in the There Official forums. Some amazing connections have been made in There. Most Thereians are more than happy to share various resources and may have valuable advice for those seeking it.

Sometimes the members of There, seem to me a more true community than the RL neighborhood where I live. The avies in There are much more accessible and usually very friendly and have given me help and advice that are beyond words. There is where “possibilities” become “abilities”!
