 Beyond the Sea

The size of There is very close to that of that mysterious and rarely spoken-of place called “Earth”.  A few hundred kilometers smaller than that other  planet, is our ocean covered world of There. Supposedly, Earth’s surface has huge oceans and some very odd avatars from what I hear tell, but There has much bigger, endless calm seas where you can sail for days, - weeks, on end with no land ever to be seen. Amazing!

I understand the patience it takes to navigate over long distances in There. Anyone who has made the trip around the world knows. The pay-off is when you see the distant mountain peaks approaching on the horizon, and then finally make it back from your weeks long journey.

After being gone for so long, these shores now seem strangely different, almost alien.

It’s  a long way. You may think it takes too long. You may feel it is simply too difficult, harsh and boring. Well it is a challenge. You can use cruise control, drive a zippy fast monster TUV, turn off the “water” a drive on more stable “ice nine”, this speeds up the journey. A little.

-        I drove around There’s equator going east, back in spring of 2004.

-        It took me about a month.

-        I ran on cruise control for many, many hours. Although I didn’t run totally full time. I   took some days and nights off here and there.

-        I bookmarked  various points all around the globe.

-        I didn’t level up much in driving skill. ‘Doh!

-        Do I recommend doing this? No, not really. -You really gotta be prepared. And maybe a little crazy.

-        Some There members have gone around the globe several times. Such as Nova 1. I think Nova 1 has set the record for “most extreme” There travel. Amazing.

-        If you see me in There perhaps, I can share a bookmarked spot or two with you. Zoom out (camera) and see where you are.

-        Is there any land on the “other side”?

-        If there is, it is being kept secret.

Vision of the Future

There’s creators made this place HUGE for the depth and possibilities for the future. There has open space beyond one’s wildest dreams. How many cool ideas, new lands, and as-yet-unthought-of features could form in There in the next 15 years or beyond? This, my fellow explorers is what is beyond the sea. Just imagine!

Amazing Travels to You!

Archie
