Flying Machines

 

This week, I’ve been exploring Flying in There with Hoverboats. These craft have been a mainstay of inter-island  exploration since the early days of There. Hoverboats have evolved into highly artistic craft and you can truly explore There in style! 

I’m really not writing to discuss price and collect-ability, but just to check out interesting hoverboats. And there are a bunch of ‘em. It’s a lot of fun to “shop” the auctions and check ‘em out. Even if just for fun. But when you truly want your very own hoverboat, it can be a relatively large purchase. The good news is that they cost much less on average than they used to. I’m sure you will find your fav. Here are a few unique boats I found in the auctions.

 

Zach C’c Kadallack Sky Yacht Hoverboat, “True luxury in a hoverboat”  Beautiful sheen and depth paint by the Voice of There’s own, ZachC, model by Carcus. I also saw ZachC’s Buccaneer, and a Mardi Gras design based on this same body style.

 

The Moon Boat is a very sweet pod-like craft that’s loads fun and easy to fly. A “Moon colony planetoid transport” by 1Book. A clean, tight machine. Nice.

 

Nexus Halloween Car, a seasonal design has intense detail and creativity, horses and lamps, and loaded with spookiness. Great all year ‘round, especially for Tyr and Tabu dwellers.

 

The seasonal “Cupid’s Arrow” is one of the more unusual hoverboats I’ve ever seen. This is a giant heart tipped arrow by Give4Love, designed by Phlit. Cupid, I’m sure is proud of seeing this. But if you see this coming at you, well, you never know what might happen. Your gonna REALLY fall in love if hit by that huge arrow! This is the perfect “Valentine” way to fly. Also, Gift4Love has the “With Love Hoverboat Present” donated graciously by Phlit, interestingly only 15 in world. Check it out! Very special.

 

Majandi’s (retro) Flying Machine is one of my favs. It is born of true Thereian stock and inventiveness. Classic with it’s single headlamp, plush red bench seating and Thereian gray-wood lumber construction, brass railings. You can’t get much more “Thereian” than this. “Only men of steel fly machines made of wood and canvass!” ‘Flying Machine’ – look it up in auctions.

  

There are so many awesome hoverboats! I’ll look into more boat cool boat designs again in the near future. What a blast! Get yourself a hoverboat, and go exploring and low level skimming in There. It can’t be beat!
