Landings
Throughout the history of There, hundreds of unsuccessful landings have
occurred. Fortunately were only looking at the resilient pixilated kind
here. There was that first and fateful occurrence at Maidenflight, where an airplane still remains perched on the rocks to this day. I can only imagine that the passengers managed to get out safely and walk to a drop zone to catch a ride home that was a bit safer.
Sometimes it seems like a great big hand just reaches out and catches you. Other times you might wind up in frightfully tangled knot. How many times have you been stuck upside down on the floor of some sky paz with no choice but to leap to your doom in order to free yourself from the boat?
Having someone to pilot the boat is also a good idea as shown in these file photos. The boat will stay where parked. Interestingly, it will only fly when a driver is seated, and it makes a fun sled going down the mountainside otherwise!
Sometimes boats can flip and land upside down. I have experienced many embarrassing moments when trying to park my hoverboat. “Land hard” that’s my motto these days. I learned it from Clucky,
