Mythic Lands in There

Higher and Higher

 by Archie

I’ll take mine straight up, please. The Hoverbike Climbing Wall in Duda Bay is a fascinating testament to the tenacity of PAZ builders and to the exploration of Therian physics.

- Geoff524, I haven’t run into you in world lately, but I sure like your Hoverbike Climbing Wall. In fact I like it so much, I couldn’t resist writing about it here. I have made some recent visits and I hope you keep it in world. -

Looking up from the ground, this giant structure vanishes in the up-ward distance. You grab a hoverbike, take a nice run at the ramp, and hang on. Keep the throttle wide open and climb, climb, climb!

Soon you pass through the levels. You may never drive a hoverbike into the sky like you will at the Hoverbike Climbing Wall. It’s a cool kind of disorienting sensation. You will get the feeling like your driving along a straight road, that is, of course, unless you make a mistake and let off the feelium throttle, or steer off the path and find yourself free-falling back to good ol’ aqua-firma.

The “wall” is a really “trip”. It doesn’t take a long time, just a little skill. At the top is your reward for the effort. Geoff524 has provided a huge stunt bowl, which is a gas to buzz around sideways (again, lol!) especially with a few other riders.  Nearby, there is a giant Buddha for contemplation and a place to sit and enjoy the pervasive view.

See ya up top, k?

Archie
