Maroon

Often overlooked, this little green island may have buried treasure left here by pirates on the open seas of There. Umm… I didn’t find any… although I really looked hard for it.

Real Treasure.

What I did find was just how deep those posts go into the terra firma beneath these shallow waters. The real treasure (to me at least) were these shots with a “lost in the ether” kind of look. I had on trend sec, and even after turning trend sec off, there were still dark sea-panels covering the surroundings that gave Maroon an eerie feel. The pictures taken with ‘zoom – out’ and leveled down near sea level created that separated look. Some of my large size original pics at Maroon would make a really neat There poster.

Hot water.

I always enjoy a hot tubbing session in these tethered and floating hot-tubs thingies. The workmanship on those “floating tubs”, is truly exquisite. The water is kept at a steady 102 degrees, and, what powers those propellers, (?) …must be that environmentally safe perma-fuel known as “Feelium”. But just maybe, inside the tether is a hidden power line. Oh well, only the There Public Works Dept. knows for sure, and apparently they ain’t tellin’.

I recommend you grab some buddies and zip over to Maroon. I wonder if you can find it just by the photograph provided here? (I bet you can!)

Happy travels,

Archie
