Dreams of Snow in Summer

 By Archie

Yikes! It’s hot out! The sun is burning down, sand is blowing around everywhere, sweat is stinging in my eyes, my face is getting shiny, and I think I’m starting to chafe- It’s off to snow country!

Looking at the travel maps I made the decision is made to head off to snow country. There are some really great places in There to cool off. One is Samsyn’s Frosty Island. It’s one heck-uva long haul up north, but has some great spots, and is totally covered in snow.  -Find someone to give a bookmark for it-

Brrrrrr!

The other is Comet Island with a record breaking high-mountain some refer to as “Snow Top”.  This is a place where you might find Therians leaping off with no skies attached, and taking the tumble all the way down to where the grass is green, and temperatures return to normal, Cool and comfortable, except for spilled drinks (do this with a Hot Blues!), broken legs and arms, and a messed up hair-do. No problem, I just pick myself up, dust myself off and start all over again. Did you “save” that spot up top?

Here is a fun idea you can do with a hoverboat on the big snow covered mountain. Find a really steep place near the top, where the boat will slide down the steep terrain by itself. Let the boat go and quickly pop out bikes or boards and try to catch the boat sliding craft as it “falls” down the cliffs. When you catch up to it, and this is the tricky skill, click into a seating position and ride the boat down the hill.

DO NOT click into the “drive” seat or the boat will start to fly. See how many can of you can catch a seat in the boat. If it’s too easy, then let the boat get a bigger head start. This is exhilarating fun! Remember - be sure to save your favorite drop site so you can all meet back at the top!

After some nice long days of playing in the snow, hoverboating, buggy riding, “snow” boarding or whatever, it’s always nice to find a warm bon-fire to take off the chill. If need be, you could set up your very own camp in the snow country, and before you know it, you’ll have some chilly visitors stop by to warm up.

Happy Travels!

Archie
