 Soda Pop in There

Sweet, sweet times in There! Yes, commercial products are a part of life in today’s world. There.com is no exception. However, the marketing style signals a quieter, less pervasive method of message delivery, than say, all those years you spent being blasted by TV commercials.

The land of big soda is a pleasant place. The city, a thriving hub of single-brand commerce delivers a unique over-the-top 1-track marketing message that has a special humor in and of itself.

CC Island is to be able to move about inside the brand. It doesn’t reveal corporate secrets, or have a “Coke” ™ museum. It doesn’t need all that. You already got that idea well instilled in you as a modern day human being. Pure and simple, CC Island is the “love cat” wonderland of being in the virtual world and territory held into our reality by millions of folks just like you and me, who guzzle ‘product’.

Now we can even guzzle virtual “Coke” ™, and our avatar’s can finally taste how sweet, delicious and satisfying it really is. But hey, it’s still fun. It’s relatively harmless corporatist propaganda. So, what the heck? Refresh! Have a “Coke” ™! Your avie is thirsty out there!!

Okay, details. The city is located at the top of the bottle. There is a short waterway there that from a distance gives the bottle-shaped island a more “frosty’ look.

The city has very cool buildings. Some have more solid construction than others. Some are only image and no boundary. Some you can hang out on the roof top. Nice!

You can bring your vehicles from outside the city a little ways, but not drop in the city. You can get around in the streets, but there are some places that will “put away” your ride for you, like if you fly into the hoverboard track area.

There is a LOT of land here. This bottle shaped island is actually REALLY big. It’s all zoned for no dropping, but you can ride vehicles in and explore. Hilly but not mountainous. And it gets pretty dry and thirsty for civilization in the “outback” The islands at the top (“The Bubble Islands”?) are cool and strange being so perfectly round, and yet “naturally” landscaped, however treeless. There’s that obtuse humor again!

I think it would be cool if the vast open lands were opened up for PAZ and hood building someday. Sure, away from the CC Metro center area. But hey, a city view would be prime real estate. And, there are some trees on the ground on some of the land near the city area.

Don’t forget to look up at the sky sometimes while you explore. You wouldn’t want to forget what this intensely refreshed, quenched, and satisfied land is all about, now would we?

Best travels,

Archie
