The first problem
I thought of is the fact that some of you probably don't have friends.
Well, don't worry about finding a team to compete with... even if you were
always the last person to get picked for teams in dodgeball in gym class and
everyone always snapped you with towels on your way through the locker room
like myself, you will already have a pre-made team you can join! For the

August, Mackie, the Mary Lou Retton of There event hosting,
will be coordinating the greatest competition of sports and skills to date
in There: the ThereGames! I'm not too sure what she has in mind, but I'm
guessing it'll be much like the Olympics, except with less illegal steroids
use. I suspect that the ThereGames will pit competing teams against each
other in various activities such as hoverbike racing, paintballing, hide and
seek, running over newbs in buggies, avatar soccer, bingo, trivia contests,
trash-talking, sumo buggy, streaming lame music over voicechat, clue quests,
who can stay AFK the longest, griefing, flaming others in forums, and
whatnot. I could be wrong about some of those events, but I get the idea
that she wants help in coming up with, planning, and hosting various
competitive events that will in some way count towards a team's overall
ThereGames score. Thinking about all of the logistics and scorekeeping
involved makes my head hurt, so that's why we all leave the event-planning
stuff to Mackie.

nametag color. Right now, my GREEN NAMETAG TEAM only has Ubber_Geek
and myself on it, and I'd rather not have to dominate the rest of the
ThereGames competitors with our two-man team, so please join up with the
club that corresponds to your nametag. RavenTresses is on
the YELLOW NAMETAG TEAM, so if you have a yellow nametag, be
sure to distract her during each event by telling her how pretty she is.
Rumor has it that G0D has joined up with the GRAY NAMETAG
TEAM, giving them a slightly unfair divine advantage.

came up with the idea for this There-wide Olympics-type competition, which
will involve planning meetings and the booking of the events through
Official_TeamAvi. If you have an event idea or want to help host
an event for the ThereGames, please stay tuned in the Official Forums for
more information on how to participate. If you want to just sit on your
thumb all day and make silly faces at your avatar in Body Mirror mode while
eating greasy pork rinds, then you can probably just skip the rest of this
article. This is a great way for everyone to meet and make new friends with
other people from all over the world, especially those crotchety beta
old-timers who haven't added to their buddy lists since the close of Public
Beta 3 and keep whining about how their buddy lists are all empty when they
log in now and how happenin' things were back in the day. You can find out
