All Decked in December

It was not even December yet when I bought a tree for our house.  I was already excited at the prospect of decorating but Phonk reminded me that itʼs still early to shop for Christmas items, and that more new items would come out in December.  Though we window-shopped and tried some new items, we ended up frustrated.  Finally deciding that yes, perhaps it's still early.

 

So I went on my usual thing.  Guiding new members, chatting with friends, lapping at some tracks, hosting a few events, and what-have-yous.  And as I go about my usual routine, I observed how the world gradually changed from the dark, spooky and raining ambience of Halloween to the frosty sparkling white atmosphere of Christmastime.  I was almost in awe.

 This is my first Christmas in There, and I find it lovely.  There's just so much to see, so much to explore, so much to discover...  There are Christmas songs playing, snowflakes falling from above, snow-covered grounds, not to mention, Snowmen everywhere, doing all skills and emotes possible...  There are hoods with elaborately decorated houses, events that were organized to help a charitable institution, Thank You gifts here and there...  All these things warm my heart in ways I could not explain.

 

A couple of nights back, I panned my sight observing what other things had been added since we tried to decorate for Christmas.  The tree had been up since November, standing tall beside the door.  And the wreath was placed by the door a few weeks after.  That's all..  Then I realized, it's not the decoration in the house that matters.  It's the happiness you find inside that makes a house a home.   

And as Phonk removed his green goggles on, I smiled to myself.  I don't need any more decors.  I have what makes me happy.
