Go Shopping!

When I feel like shopping in-world, I am one of those people who browse through pages twice or thrice before I could find something I really like.  And it doesn’t always guarantee that after trying the item, I would be buying it.  I would have to sleep on it, then go through the pages again the next day.  Of course, there were times when I would just buy something on impulse.  Sometimes though, pages won’t load and it can get really frustrating. 

A year ago, Phonk brought me to Village Marketplace.  Since it is a graphics-intensive location, I had to wait a while for everything to load.  But I tell you, it was worth the wait!  It was like a virtual marketplace, indeed.  All I could say was WOW!   

Walking, or should I say half-running through the street, not knowing where to start looking just made me feel like a kid in a candy store.  I want everything!  It was refreshing to see the items you can buy right before your ThereEyes.   

No need to wait for pages after pages to load, no need to click many times to see a bigger picture of the item, no need to click back button to go back to previous page.  It was all displayed there for you to check out. 

 

You can even stay as long as you want and try everything you want.  You can go back, go slow, go fast.  Whatever you wish.  Honestly, I am not fond of shopping in RL, but shopping virtually is a different experience altogether.   

When I read from There FunTimes that there is now a Shop Central Showroom at There Orleans, I headed to check it out.  If The Village Marketplace showcases designs by some of our very own Thereian Designers and Developers, Shop Central Showroom showcases items from There.  Yes, the ones we get from skilling up!   

 

I thought I’ve seen them all, having browsed Shop Central too many times, but I was just surprised when I saw them all on display.  I thought maybe I have overlooked some of them while browsing the pages.  But out on display, it’s easier to see all of them.

 

Unlike in RL, you can sit as long as you want on the chairs, sofas, and even soak in the tub for hours without being reprimanded.  You can actually see how big or small the item is. 

 

Shop Central Showroom would lead you to There Realty Office, or vice versa.  It has everything you need to know if you are planning to rent a house, a clubhouse, rent a funzone or a hood.  The location is a one-stop shop for your housing needs.  Deeds, decors and all.   

There Specialty Shopping is also located at There Orleans.  The items being showcased here are the items from There’s Partners.  Yes, the “popular name brands”.  ‘wink.  And if you stroll a bit more around the place, you’d see more stores by some more Thereian Designers and Developers.

 

So if you find yourself in a rut browsing through pages, why not drop by at The Village Marketplace and There Orleans and make your in-world shopping a visually pleasant experience.  Be sure you have the Ts with you, just in case you can’t leave the place empty-handed.
