To Have and To Hold

No, I’m not going to write about who-married-who this month.  This is not going to be a wedding article.  Sorry.  Although it gave me an idea to start some sort of a public announcement for the weddings to be held in world and a public notice for weddings that have been “annulled”.  It could be an informative ad, but then again, I would have to give it some more thought. 

But for the meantime, I am writing about the latest handheld objects that have become available in world recently.  Like other curious members, Phonk and I devoted some time trying out the recent releases of some of the good designers in There.  It was a lot of temptation “to have” all of them.  But of course, we can’t.  Then again, it was a lot of fun to be able “to hold” each of them even for just five minutes. 

I took some screenshots of the items I tried and a couple of items that Phonk tried.  It amused me no end to dress up to make right for the part.  The little black dress matched the Sueded Black Handheld Purse like I was going out on a date.  The Geisha hairstyle and outfit matched the Ladies Hand Fan so much so it looked  perfect.  The leather jacket and sunglasses matched the Rock Star Microphone Prop like I was having a There concert.  And the Elegant Ballgown looked so perfect on me, the only thing lacking was the ball itself.

And then the other handheld items:  The Lagoland Money Sack Prop made me look like a bank employee ready to put the money in the vault.  Or maybe, ready to run away with it?  I tried the Handheld Chocolate Cupcake and I think it looked so yummy, I wished there’s a bite option to it.  The Tripple Ice Cream Cone is my favorite, and I guess it’s evident in the pictures below.  It was given as a gift, and I love it!  I just kept typing :p to give the impression that I was licking it.  While I tried the money bag, Phonk tried fanning All About The Benjamins Prop, and even asked if I need some.  But I was so contented with my ice cream, I couldn’t care less.  We tried to fit under the Umbrella Prop 3 afterwards, but I guess it only shades one person.  Good thing, it wasn’t raining inside the house!

 

It was really exciting to see new items come out for a half-a-year-old member like me.  And I bet it’s even more exciting for older members like Phonk (no worries hun, I’m not talking about RL age) to see responses of designers to the requests of the community.  It pays to keep on waiting and to keep on trying. 

Speaking of which, I bet you would also want to have them once you hold them.  So start trying them now and get what you like most!
