by ZachC I spent last Saturday evening at the Village Market Place for the annual “Trick or Treat in The Streets!” event. I met a lot of people I didn’t know, as well as enjoying the company of old friends. We all had a great time. The “trick or treat” treats were really cool and so were the costumes. The biggest problem was that people kept getting the message that the area was too full when they tried to teleport in or summon people. We resorted to meeting folks in the ocean nearby and driving them in. That was tedious, but still better than the alternative. Speaking of Halloween, I found a really cool hoverbike by freecreed. It’s called The Witches Broom, and for only 9,800t it’s perfect for the season. I believe the auction ended Sunday afternoon, but hopefully he’ll relist them soon.
An old favorite of mine has also been rereleased for Halloween. The C25: MX – Halloween by Colin25 is back. It’s a limited edition that didn’t quite sell out last year. Limited to 10 copies there are 2 left. I got mine last year, and it’s still one of my favorite bikes. Priced at only 17,500t, it’s a steal for a limited edition from this designer.
This next item isn’t really in keeping with the season, but I really like it. The Color Morph Ultra Pack Hoverpack by Banshee_Kate is simply beautiful as it morphs through a multitude of colors and shapes. I’ve shown a few here, but the pictures don’t do it justice. This animated hoverpack is priced at 14,450t which is very reasonable for an item as interesting as this.
My column wouldn’t be complete without at least one buggy. Today I have 2. The first is by toungesports. It’s called the gLadiATor – BlizzArD bLue. This buggy has good shine on an icy looking paintjob. The detail is good and to top it off, it’s a limited edition priced at 18,850t. This one is limited to 10 copies and if you’re a collector it might be worth taking a look.
Onus is at it again. His new
OMC Brown Bomber was introduced last week, and speaking of shine, this
one looks incredible. The hood is new and original, the seats are great,
and I’ve already raved about the dash from an earlier column. This buggy
is also limited to 10 released copies. Onus is keeping an additional one
for his personal use. It’s priced at 28,850t. One thing for you
collectors out there to keep in mind is that OMC Buggies have a legacy
going back to beta days. They have a tradition of quality and value
that’s hard to match. This one is definitely worth a look. That’s it for this week, but a new designer by the name of aj_1988 whose buggy Classi Cali V.2 was reviewed two weeks ago sent me some images of what he’s been working on. They look great and I can hardly wait to see them in world so I can bring them to you here. Maybe next column? How about it aj?
