I found some interesting buggies in the auctions this past week. One is a new buggy by a designer who hasn’t been around for awhile. Coolguy34122 has done buggies in the past but he’s been gone from There for close to two years. He’s back now with his new Silver Sonny. The quality is good but the shocker is the price. At 9,850t it’s one of the least expensive new buggies in auction and the detail and shine makes it one of the best bargains available. He’s also relisted many of his old designs which can be a problem for some since many were becoming collectors items. They used to be fun to display at historic buggy shows, unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. Please don’t get me wrong. None of these old buggies were limited and Coolguy has done nothing wrong or improper. It’s just that after so long a time people make assumptions about them not being available ever again. Sometimes they’re just incorrect.

Contrasting with a designer from the past we have a buggy by a new designer. Nazereth666 has been in world for awhile and has done a few buggies, but he never really made much of an attempt to market them and the quality was sort of average. With his latest creation, the 2007 CMC Vierra he breaks out of the pack. The shine is excellent, the overall detail and quality are great. All he needs now is to make a two seater version, which he tells me is already in the works. The Vierra is priced at 16,850t and for detail and shine like this that’s an awesome price.

Next up is a buggy by Frequent Flyer. Flyer’s GTS is shiny and red and the hood can only be described as awesome. It’s priced at 23,000k and is worth taking a look at if you’re in the market for a new buggy.

Our next buggy is done by a familiar name in many design circles. The DB1200 Candy Red Dragonblade by Kort is an example of a buggy done by someone who has taken the time to learn the tools. There’s so much about this buggy to like I don’t know where to begin. The shine is flawless, the detail excellent, and for only 16,500t I don’t know why these aren’t all over There! It also comes in a purple version, but I do love red. Kort has got to be one of the most versatile designers in all of There. Not only does he do buggies, he creates some cool clothing and builder items. There are very few who can pull that off successfully, and Kort is one of them.

Finally we come to a buggy done by a designer whose name seems to be popping up in buggy circles quite frequently of late. That would be the Torque by Ron Burgundy. He’s really got the shine down and the detail too. The deep blue color is intense and with the contrasting stripes it makes quite an impression. Ron has done something that I learned a long time ago, and that is to leave the tail lights where they are. The reason for this is that in Tyr, or anywhere dark, the model’s tail lights glow in the dark. If you place “tail lights” anywhere else they just sit there. I got quite a few complaints about this back in the day. I’m not sure how much it affected sales, but I learned my lesson and do like Ron has; put the tail lights where they actually work in the dark!
