This week I’m going to start my column by letting you all know that ZMW will be 4 years old the end of August. There will be several events coming up to celebrate the birthday of one of the oldest companies in There. In addition ZMW is coming out with a couple of buggies to help celebrate. The first released ZMW was the Basic Utility Vehicle known by its initials, BUV. It was pretty sad by today’s standards, but it was the start of ZMW. That buggy was army green and was basically a bare bones military style buggy. Some racers liked it because it allegedly was a very fast buggy. The four year anniversary wouldn’t be complete without a new buggy in a similar style so the Warthog was born. The Warthog is hardly bare bones. It comes with a detailed dash, radar screen included, and more detail than you’ll notice at first glance. The Warthog is priced at 18,850t For the less militarily inclined there’s also the Four Year Anniversary buggy. It’s done in the traditional red and black ZMW racing colors. This buggy will only be available from the date it’s released through the end of September and is priced at 23,850t Some of our other designers have been working on a few interesting designs too. Right off the bat I found the SSW Ebony by samsw28. The SSW Ebony is shiny black. Black is a difficult color to work with and Sam has done an excellent job here. The styling is fresh with excellent detail. The Ebony is priced at 13,850t which is a great price for a buggy of this quality. Several designers have done buggies based on vehicles from TV shows, cartoons, and movies. The Eckto 1 LE by K_Rob joins that group. This buggy is white, another difficult color to work with. K_Rob pulls it off nicely. The graphics are crisp and clear and he’s got some shine going on too. The Eckto is limited to 15 and is priced at 21,850t. For those who have to have their purple, BurnoutKing has created the Plum Loco. This buggy has some good shine happening. The color is intense and vibrant with good attention to detail. I’ve watched Burnout get better with each design and this one is no exception. The Plum Loco is priced at a very reasonable 13,850t.
