Last week’s experiment using a committee to select buggies to review went so well I decided to do it again. I stopped by Bad Apple Raceway and found the usual suspects, and added a couple of new ones! So this week we had GoldFalcon and Crazy124 in addition to BigD26 and ForsheetzNGigglz. It looks like Tis is ready for the expected influx of girls from the new partnership of There with CosmoGIRL! Magazine. Her pink Tismobile is something many young ladies will appreciate. The buggy is well done and innovative. Priced at only 9,250t it’s a crazy bargain! If you’re into pink buggies this one deserves a peek.
At the opposite extreme we have a great buggy for the Halloween season by Mariesa. The Dark Side Buggy MDX is priced at 17,995 and has Mariesa’s usual awesome attention to detail. All of the graphics are very goth, and the hood is incredible. The interior is well done and matches the theme perfectly. It’s black, which is difficult to do well, but Mariesa could give lessons on how make it work judging from this buggy.
I hope you don’t get tired of my raves about buggies by polymatrixdragon, but I couldn’t help myself with our next one. The “Graffiti is Easy” was a combined effort by Poly and Soupdragonlady. We saw a beautiful example of her work last week. This one combines complex shapes and color in a graffiti theme. In spite of the name, graffiti is only easy if a person is a good graffiti artist or the graffiti doesn’t work well. In this case it’s obvious we have some excellent graffiti artists here. The buggy is priced at 13,850t which is an insanely low price for a buggy from this designer.
Finally in another blast from the past we have the Covered Wagon Buggy by Melody_Copeland. This buggy was originally created during the first Wild Wild West event. It’s priced at 15,000t. Melody’s buggies are created with themes in mind and she’s done some good ones. I do hope she gets back into creating some cool new buggies to augment her inventory from the past.
Speaking of voices from the past, Spyderbytez dropped in a few days ago. Spyder was sporting his new hair style as we headed over to Ovni’s Buggy Museum to take a look around. Santa was there while Ovni showed off an interesting idea and Spyder seemed to like it. Innie was there as well and she just HAD to show off while Ovni watched. That’s one strong lady, I don’t think I wanna mess with her!
