by ZachC Hot August Nights will be starting on August 1st and run through the 9th, so I decided to use the gas station and drive-in along the Aurora Highway as the backdrop for the pictures this week. There will be a couple of cruise nights up and down the highway for this theme hosted by myself and Francis7. If you’re going, what better buggy to cruise in than a Belaire? The ZMW Red Belaire coupe features a candy apple red paint job with ghosted flames. It comes in both 2 and 4 seat versions. Both are limited to 25 copies and are priced at 28,850t for the coupe and 24,850t for the 4 seat version.
Frill has outdone herself with her Twilight Blue 4 seat Buggy. This buggy demonstrates that you don’t have to follow the pack to come up with an awesome creation. The design is original and innovative with great attention to detail. The deep blue color is gorgeous and the shine is excellent. This one is priced at only 12,000t. I consider that a bargain for a buggy of this quality, especially when compared to others in this price range or even most of those that cost significantly more. X_DragonLady_x has come out with a great design too. Her new DL-DragonFire is a yellow and black beauty. The flame and dragon graphics are well done and the shine is good. Priced at 18,500t if you like dragons or yellow and black buggies this is one to check out for sure.
Buggies were hard to come by again this week but I found a couple of great old bikes. The Unicycle! Clown Around by Kattwomann is a fun bike. I got a kick out of riding it up and down the Aurora Highway. The balance bar was very helpful and helped keep me as balanced as I ever am. It’s priced at 15,000t and it’s FUN! For racers who seem to feel that the smaller the bike the better, this one could be considered a very minimalist bike for sure! Can you imagine winning a big bike race on a UNICYCLE!?!?!
The Relapse Blue Specter is a blast from the past. Relapse went for quite some time without listing anything, but now his stuff is back in auction. The quality of his designs has always led the pack. As a professional graphics artist that would be expected. He hasn’t done anything new in a long time but I have hopes that will change. In the meantime we have to be satisfied with what he has available now. His bikes come in several colors and are priced at 12,500t. They may be a bit long for the racers, but for the rest of us they’re a lot of fun.
