Zach is back! I really wanted to work on my column over the last three weeks, (honest Geea!) but due to an operation and recovery I just wasn’t up to it. I’m doing much better now, and I’m glad to be back.

For starters this week let’s take a look at a couple of new buggies. The first is the new OMC Dynasty II by Onus. This one has all the quality, originality, and art Onus has been known for over the last 5 years. To him creating a buggy is all about the art. If you like deep intense color this buggy has it in spades. If you like that color to be purple, you can’t get any deeper purple than this. The shine is well done and the fenders look like a dust cloth would slide off. The buggy is a limited edition of 11 copies and is priced at 38,850t.

Our second buggy is the M:Core:Magnum by Mullachops. This buggy is another example of the quality a good designer can put into a buggy. The dash, seats, ducts, grill, and wheels all work together like a symphony. In this case a hard core symphony, because that’s what Mullachops does. This one is dark gray to black. The shine is excellent and done in such a way as to emphasize the heavy metal industrial look. To top it all off, he’s priced this one at 12,599t. You can’t FIND this kind of quality at this price very often. It isn’t limited, and should be available for quite awhile.

Now that we can do “try its” on paint jobs, I’ll be able to bring you more of those. This week we’re back to Onus with the OMC Crimson II paintjob for the Scion Haku. If you know his work at all, the grill on this black and red beauty just screams OMC. The shine is beautifully done, and the graphics are another work of art from this designer. The Crimson II is priced at 9,300t which is in the typical range for Scion paint jobs.

Jinxed_Karma has authorized several designers to use his incredible Hover Buggy model. BigD26 had the first one out. It was a limited edition and I believe it’s no longer available. ZMW followed with a dark red version, and it too has been discontinued. That leaves two versions by MikeCesar and one by samsw28. I’ll show you Mike’s black version here. It’s the MC HoverBuggy 351 Limited. There will be only 20 sold and it’s priced at 30,000t. The interesting thing about this one is the animated logo on the hood. It looks very cool. He also has a red version of this model, but I don’t do mushy love and kisses stuff so no offense, I’ll pass on that one.

The hover buggy done by samsw28 is the SSW-XJ 1 Hoverboat. It’s unlimited and priced at 27,000t. The quality is excellent and he did a good job on the shine. This one is shades of gray with “metal flake” in the paint. It’s an excellent and creative interpretation of this model.

Next week I know there’ll be a new ZMW version of this model, and I would expect a new one from BigD26 (DMC) as well. If they’re in I’ll be showing them to you. This model is beautiful. I just wish we could use it for ground buggies as well as a hoverboat.
