by ZachC Last week I showed you a version of the Hoverbuggy model by MikeCesar, the MC HoverBuggy 351 Limited. I mentioned that at least two others were on the way from both ZMW and DMC, and here they are. First we have the DMC Sahara-08 by BigD26. The color evokes feeling of the desert and it’s very well done. Unlike his first version and the MC HoverBuggy, it’s not limited. Priced at 27,000t it’s a beautiful addition to the DMC lineup of vehicles.
ZMW pulled the Typhoon Hoverbuggy last week and replaced it with the ZMW Blue Aura. Also not limited, the Aura is priced at 27,500t. It’s another alternative among the hoverboats built using this incredible model.
Next up is something unique for this column. I don’t recall ever reviewing a flutterbug,(I could be wrong, I’ve done a lot of columns!) but this one caught my eye. The Rusty Metal by Stellaflora is extremely well done. If you’re looking for an industrial strength flutterbug, this is the one for you. Priced at a competitive 9,000t I was very impressed with the quality and I hope it does well.
Halloween is upon us, and MikeCesar strikes again! His new MC Haloween Bike Animated really gets into the spirit. The eyes and horns are animated, which does bring the wholesale up a bit. The bike uses an older model from the inimitable Yoshitoshi and is priced at 15,200t.
Halloween wouldn’t be complete without a special Halloween Hoverboat from Nex3d. Last year he came up with an incredible coach pulled by two horses. It came in a dark standard version and a ghost version. I was wondering how he’d top it this year, and now I know. The Halloween Ghost Ship is incredible. It comes in a natural version shown here, a black version, and yes… a ghost version. As usual for Nex, it’s priced at 24,000t for three days. After that it goes to 28,850t. Just like last year’s boat, these will only be available up to one or two weeks after Halloween. After that no more will ever be released.
That’s it for this week. I’ll be browsing the auctions looking for more interesting vehicles to bring you next week. Who knows? I may even find a buggy to review, but I do have to say with all the junk filling the buggy auctions sometimes I just give up looking.
