by ZachC I wanted to start this column with a buggy by a new designer, so let’s start out with one by aj_1988. The AJ – Classi Cali v2 is a beautiful shiny red. While he uses the basic There texture for the buggy model, this is one of the best versions I’ve seen. This one is well done, and I hope he keeps on designing and learning. The Classi Cali is priced at a very reasonable 13,800t. It’s well worth the price.
Next I’d like to show you the OMC Hyperion – Black by Onus. This buggy should be released to auctions on Wednesday the 15th. I don’t know the price but it won’t be limited. As many of us know, black isn’t the easiest color to work with on a buggy, but Onus is a pro and carries it off well. For this and his more recent buggies he’s done a new dash. For those who want to break into buggy design and be successful at it, a good dash is critical… and I don’t mean the freebies some have made available. There are so many of those out there now I take one look and move on… quickly. I’m not alone in that. As I keep saying, it’s all in the details and this dash is the latest example that demonstrates Onus knows the details.
If you want an OMC Hyperion now, you can always grab the currently listed version in red. It lists at 18,850t and I reviewed it recently. For Halloween, ANX has come out with the Graveside. Anxious hasn’t introduced many new vehicles lately… probably because of the new baby, but I was happy to see that she is still working on her designs. The Graveside is orange fading into black. The shine is good and the timing is perfect! It’s priced at only 10,850t which is a mere 2k over wholesale making it a steal for the holiday. Check it out!
Speaking of Halloween, ZMW should have its latest version of the Khobra available on Monday. The Khobra Phantom Skull will be a limited edition of 11 and be priced like previous Khobras.
I actually managed to do a column devoted exclusively to buggies this week, although adding two that are not yet released may be cheating. Honestly, it’s difficult to find good stuff with all the old and poorly done buggies clogging the pages. If something doesn’t sell, why are they constantly being relisted? There are some that have been relisted for going on 5 years now, and they have NOT improved with age. Oh well, with all the new vehicles available I can always hunt elsewhere in the auctions for new and interesting items.
