I was reading through the forums the other day and came across a post by GammaRay asking for comments about his latest buggy. He got one, and it wasn’t all that complementary. I decided to take a look for myself. The buggy is the Nightmare XLR-BK. What I found was a buggy that has gone beyond anything he’s done in the past. It’s a major step forward. For me, the subtle flames were perfect for the buggy. Not garish or overdone, they blend into the design. The hood and grill work well together, and actually look sort of like a restored roadster hot rod. That’s not easy to do. Compared to 98% of the buggies I have to look at every week, this one is a something I actually enjoyed. Technically GammaRay has done his homework. The treads line up, the windshield is clear, the wheels are great, and the seats very well done. Priced at only 11,850t, in my opinion this buggy is a BARGAIN. More PLEASE!

Next on the list is yet another great buggy, the BDZ MechanicalResonance. By BDZ_Corp. A lot of care went into the shine and detail on this one. It’s buggies like these that make my trek through the auctions less tedious. This one is priced at 20,000t. That’s moving into the upper price tier, but this buggy can handle it. Kudos to BDZ!

I see a lot of old buggies being listed over and over by developers who haven’t lifted a finger to create or improve in years. Some don’t even bother to log in anymore. I can’t imagine that their buggies sell, but it’s their right to list the junk forever if they want to. It does clutter up the auctions making the good ones more difficult to find. The final buggy I want to review this week isn’t new, but it sure doesn’t fall into that category. It’s awesome and shows that a well done buggy can be timeless. The Buggy Pals Ramp Rider by LossAngeles was actually designed for the group by Colin25. Colin is one of my favorite buggy designers, and with this buggy he demonstrates that you don’t need a front grill/intake to make a hot buggy. It’s well done, as his work always is, and the deep red color is beautiful while still evoking a sense of strength and power. I don’t remember seeing it listed before, but at only 15,000t I may go back and grab one myself!

I also found a couple of bikes I wanted to show you this week. The first is the Phase_D in Gothic Vamp Red by phasedenergy. Breaking into the bike market isn’t easy. Bike racers have certain bikes they like, and nothing else will do for them. Most like them small and tight. This one fits the bill. I’m not a bike racer (there are those that say I can’t race anything!) But this one looks to me like a bike that should be very successful at the track.

Finally we have the HB Mini Buggy Hover Bike by Crazy124. I love the mini buggy model by Phlit, and this version painted by Crazy is very well done. The “bike” was done for the Hurricane Bay community but it’s currently listed in auctions for everyone. Priced at only 13,500t, if you’re looking for something fun this would be a good place to start.

With the holidays coming, I hope many developers will be bringing out new items. It’s a time for gift giving, enjoying our friends... and shiny new toys! I’m looking forward to bringing the best of those toys to you here in the coming weeks!
