As I’ve mentioned here before, one of my favorite buggy designers is Colin25. His buggies tend toward a look with good use of science fiction or industrial textures. I love ‘em and he’s come out with three new ones. These are a new look for him, and demonstrate originality and technical skills that far surpass many other designers. They’re the sort of buggy design that, in my opinion, will evoke strong reactions. Either you’re gonna love ‘em, or hate ‘em. I love ‘em! The buggies are the C25: Machine XR2 featuring deep red upholstery, the C25: Machine XB4 with blue seats, and the C25: Machine Zero which is limited to 10 total copies. Shown here are the XR2 and the XB4 which are priced at a very reasonable 18,850t. The Zero is priced at 25,000t which is a pretty good deal for a limited edition from a designer of the caliber of Colin25.

A designer with integrity is something I appreciate. This would describe _Blake with his new Aztec Marauder. For those who know his work, this buggy shows how far he’s come in his designing skills. That alone is good news, but to add to it the fact that he gives credit where it’s due is appreciated. The Aztec Marauder is priced at 19,100t and in the description he adds: “Thanks to Majandi for the awesome dashboard”. Credit where credit is due, now that’s class! Kudos to you _Blake! The fact is other designers have made use of this dash, and others have made use of free parts from the DWillisss site. Their use is obvious to anyone who knows buggies, so why pretend it’s their own work by not giving credit? Hopefully _Blake will be the start of a trend here!

I have a weakness for blue metallic buggies. The C.E.D. Hurricane by Nelia is just that. Her shine and texturing on this one is well done. At 13,500t it’s a good choice for a quality buggy in this price range.

Once again I found a TUV I just had to mention. Vanderjos has done some interesting work in the past, but this time he’s outdone himself. The new Dovge Eagle and Panter made me sit up and take notice. I’ve painted a few TUVs, so I know this how much work went into these. The grill with the hidden headlights had to have been a challenge, but the result justifies the effort. These are some very striking vehicles! The red version, the Eagle, is priced at a very reasonable 18,350t. The Panter is the dark and sinister version and priced at 20,350t. Either would be a good choice. It’s beginning to look to me like this designer is finding his stride and I couldn’t be happier. Great job!

Finally we have a new Gmax designer. Nex3d has been around before with some interesting buggies, but for a person with 3d design skills why not make use of those talents? His new F16 Tiger hoverboat does so with a vengeance. Let’s hope this is the start of a new line of transportation builder items. There can never be too many! The F16 is priced at a very reasonable 25,850. The pilot sits within the body and you can’t see him. The passengers ride facing forward on the wings. The texture and model are both well done and I hope we see more bikes and boats from Nex3d in the future.
