My Friend Steve By Juliaaedans
sittin on my porch hanging with my best friend steve watchin the sun set low around the trees
leave it all behind he said the work, the kids, the bills raised his beer and said to me hey baby, i think i will
now i said, steve what ya gonna do he looked at me and shook his head, sat real still grabbed another beer and said hey baby, i think i will
i said steve, a grin on my face a beer in my hand, sittin at my place lifes real funny you never see it comin, but its all about the work, the kids and the money
so why dont you sit right here and hang with me awhile i got some beer, a smoke and a hell of of a smile he laughed out loud, his arm on the sill and said hey baby, i think i will
we kicked back in our chairs, me and steve we talked about life, and all of our dreams we drank the last beer, him looking at me its real cool hangin with steve
