Pixelated Storms

Submitted By: Seammer/Greenie-SMZ

In pixelated storms and generated dreams
nothing is ever just what it seems

Romance is a game and a tender heart a toy
pull the right strings and simulate a joy

A promise on a database and plans over time
do the dance of a poet and throw in a rhyme

Develop a persona, be who you desire
stoke the flames of passion, build up a fire

Puppet master playing, controlling a heart
lose sight of truth right from the start

In pixelated storms and generated dreams
nothing is ever just what it seems...

What Draws You Here

Submitted By: Seammer/Greenie-SMZ

What draws you here
to spend so much time sharing
thoughts, hopes, dreams...
the ache of a shattered heart?

What is it that pulls to you
opens you to give
of self?

Do you feel the rise and fall of emotions
on this turbulent sea?
Or do you merely see,
what is put before your eyes?

Can you feel me,
my soul songs sung?

Soft and low,
a murmur of my being...
Flowing as tears,
happiness and sorrow

Do you sense my joy?

Does my sorrow pierce?

Can you soar to stars on my happy smiles?
Does the tinkle of my laughter tickle your ears?

Is the salty taste of tears upon your spirit?
Are my hopes a picture painted bright?
A shining, guiding light?
Does my longing scare you away?
Does my pain cut too deep?

Are your fears revealed in the songs of my soul?
Are your dreams given breath,
wind to carry them on flight?
You return...Why?

You share...what do you hope to receive?
your voice is silent here...

What would it say, were it to speak...
YOUR, soul songs?
