full moon shining in my eyes
blues and pinks fill the skies
quiet thoughts form over my head
as I lay asleep in bed
soft voice silenced by a phantom's kiss
flying high on promised bliss
lover's hope and outstretched hand
back to the nothing, I cannot stand
empty arms filled only in dreams
silent anguish let loose in screams
